Membership Process

Obtain an application from the membership office or download it online
Complete the application with proposed sponsor signatures
Once posted, you will have a 28-day waiting period to meet the Board of Directors at our monthly meeting
Once your application is approved, you will receive a number id and information

Dining

Our location in the heart of downtown Salt Lake makes the Alta Club an ideal gathering spot for members. There is a dining style for every member whether you're dining in The McCarthey Bar, Eccles Grill, or Main Dining Room.

Plan an Event

We have over 9 private event/dining rooms that can be used for business meetings, conferences, weddings, receptions, fund raising galas, family dinners, birthday parties, bridal showers. We are able to accommodate groups up to 150. Our team is happy to personalize your needs.

Club Events

Our list of club hosted annual events are by far a favorite among members. We over 150 planned events on our social calendar including library forums, game nights, book club, movie nights, speaker series, club nights, and (H)appy hour.

Overnight Accommodations

Walk into one of our twenty guest rooms and immediately you know that somebody cares you are here. We have planned for your arrival and we want you to enjoy your stay. We take pride in welcoming you to our club.

Business Center

24-hour complimentary access to the Club's on-site Business Center, which offers private workstations, computers, Internet access, printer and fax machine.

Fitness Center

The Dumke Physical Health Center is fully equipped with cardiovascular & strength training equipment. Our certified personal trainers are available to with your needs. We offer a variety of group training classes such as: ski conditioning, Pilates, yoga, and boot camp. Amenities include locker rooms, steam rooms, and shower facilities.
