Guests dining at the Alta Club must be accompanied by an active Alta Club Member.  To further assist you we have provided answers to frequently asked questions. If you need additional assistance we are here twenty four hours a day, seven days a week and can be reached at 801.322.1081. We look forward to serving you!

      Please be courteous of others when it comes to the use of cellular phones and electronic devices. Vocal phone conversations are not allowed in dining areas; please take advantage of our Business Center, Main Floor Lobby, and Third Floor Guestroom commons area for these calls. Please be considerate of others and keep conversations to a minimum.
  • Standards of Dress
    • Bar and Grill Room, 1st Floor Common Areas of the Club

      Appropriate business casual attire is acceptable for both men and women. Jackets are not required but recommended. Women are encouraged to wear comparable attire.

      Definition of business casual attire: normally acceptable “dress down” business attire including shirts with banded collar, slacks, and sports shirts. For women a pantsuit or dress, tailored pants, or skirt paired with a jacket, blouse, or sweater, are appropriate attire.

      Jeans are acceptable when free of rips or tears, preferably dark in color, and worn with a collared shirt for men and a nice blouse or sweater for women.  Sneakers and tennis shoes are not acceptable in the Bar and Grill.

      Users of these facilities are asked to bear in mind the varied occasions for which diverse attire may be appropriate.

      Private Dining Rooms

      The following dress code policy applies to any guest or member attending a private function at the Alta Club. Men are encouraged to wear a jacket and tie or appropriate business attire. Women are encouraged to wear comparable attire.

      Fitness Center and Third Floor Guestrooms

      Shorts, t-shirts, baseball hats, stocking caps, flip-flops, etc. are perfectly appropriate in the Fitness Center and Third Floor Guestroom areas, but are not acceptable anywhere else in the Club at any time.

      Back Entrance

      If accessing guestrooms or the fitness center, and not in compliance with the Alta Club Dress Code, please enter or exit through the back entrance and use the elevator to access the Third Floor Guestrooms.

      Start out going north on Terminal Dr toward Bangerter Hwy. 2.0 mi
      Take the I-80 E ramp toward City Center/Ogden/Provo. 0.07 mi
      Keep left at fork and merge onto I-80 E go 3.6 mi
      Take exit 121 for 600 So go .6 mi
      Merge onto 600 So go 1 mi
      Turn left onto So State Street go .9 mi
      100 E SOUTH TEMPLE is on the right. 

      From the East and Kimball Junction

      Take I-80 W via the ramp toward Salt Lake go 20.3 mi
      Take exit 124 for State Street/US-89 go .2 mi
      Turn right onto State Street/US-89 go 3.5 mi
      100 E SOUTH TEMPLE is on the right.

      From the North and Ogden

      Take I-15 S via the ramp towards Salt Lake go 29.5 mi
      Take exit 312 to merge onto US 89 So toward Beck Street
      Continue on Beck Street, becomes 300 West, go 4.9 mi
      Turn left onto South Temple Street go .6 mi
      100 E SOUTH TEMPLE is on the right. 

      From the South and Provo

      Take I-15 N toward Salt Lake City go 41.6 mi
      Take exit 306 to merge onto 600 South go 1.4 mi
      Turn left onto S State St/US-89 go 0.9 mi
      100 E SOUTH TEMPLE is on the right.
  • Parking
    • The Alta Club parking lot is located at 164 E. South Temple. You may access the two-level lot from either South Temple or 2nd East (south of Big O Tires).

      If you find our lot is full, parking is available at City Creek Center with no fee for the first two hours.
