Greetings From the Fitness Committee & the Fitness Center

Come and visit the Alta Club Fitness Center. Since our collaboration began with the University of Utah College of Health, attendance is up 15%. Fitness consultations and personal training sessions are giving Alta Club members a great start down the road to better health and fitness.

We have made real improvements in our quality of service. The Director of the Fitness Center is a certifed personal trainer and group fitness instructor and has a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sport Science. Each member is guaranteed a safe, effective personalized program within a comfortable environment. The Fitness Center prides itself on making fitness fun and challenging for members of all ages.

With three certified massage therapists on duty, massages are booming! Get a free, 10 minute sample massage, and you too will be hooked. We promise a pleasing, stress relieving experience. This year we have several goals. We would love to get more of you involved in fitness programs on a regular basis.

We intend to expand our nutrition counseling and osteoporosis classes, and introduce new programs in physical therapy, hearing testing, and outdoor recreation/tourism. Our ultimate goal is to reach out to as many members as possible. The University of Utah's College of Health is a great resource, so please let us know your thoughts, ideas, and suggestions.

Thanks to those who use the Fitness Center regularly. We'd love ALL members to join us in the pursuit of health and fitness. Please stop by and see us soon.
