This page contains information for food and beverage service for private parties and functions at the Alta Club. The staff and management at the Alta Club are committed to bringing you the finest quality service and food. Our attention to detail affords you the complete assurance that all commitments will be carried out on schedule and to your complete satisfaction.
Members of the Alta Club are encouraged to reserve private rooms for breakfast, lunch and dinner functions. The entire Alta Club staff is prepared to tend to every detail of every private function from the simplest meeting to the most elaborate dinner party.
We welcome the opportunity to assist you in making arrangements for any special occasion. The Alta Club will cater your complete menu. We are happy to make any changes or additions to accommodate your individual needs. No other food or beverage items may be brought in. At the conclusion of the event, all food and beverage become the property of the Alta Club and cannot be taken from the premises.
All arrangements for private parties must be made through the Catering Director or his or her designee. All information and any special arrangements which have been made for the party must also be conveyed to the Catering Director. A deposit may be required.
All prices quoted are subject to an 20% room attendant fee and Utah state sales tax. Gratuity is optional.
We will be glad to make special arrangements for all of your out-of-house needs such as entertainment, floral arrangements, balloons, special bakery requests or audio/visual needs. All charges for these items will be billed directly through your Alta Club account. An 18% service charge will be added.
All furniture, art, lamps and fixtures are irreplaceable and may not be rearranged or removed from the rooms. Nothing may be affixed to the walls, windows or ceilings. Individuals making reservations are responsible for any objects that are damaged or taken from the Alta Club by any member of your party.
Nothing may be taped, glued, nailed, pinned or attached by any means to our property. An additional damage fee of $250 will be charged to your final bill if any member of your party affixes anything to our walls, ceilings, furniture or windows.
The area reserved for your event is confined to the room(s) rented. In order to accommodate sleeping room and restaurant guests, the adjacent hallways, foyers and lobby may not be used for display, activities, etc. without management approval.
The Alta Club will cater your complete menu with the exception of wedding cakes. There is an $8.00 per guest minimum. At the conclusion of the event, all food and beverages, with the exception of wedding cakes, become the property of the Alta Club and cannot be taken from the premises.
Floral and cake deliveries can be made on the lobby level. The Alta Club will not be responsible for any items delivered. Floral arrangements should be brought in leak-proof containers.
There is limited parking available at the Alta Club. The parking lot is reserved for Club members and sleeping room guests. Valet service may also be provided upon request.
Receptions and ceremonies are important life events, and we believe families should be together on these memorable occasions. Special care must be given to assure that it is an enjoyable event for all, including the young and elderly members of your wedding party or event.
Children should be carefully supervised at all times and will not be permitted to run through the club or play with doors or elevators. The third floor sleeping room area is off-limits for children unless accompanied by an adult.
Kitchen areas are off-limits to all guests. Your host or front desk personnel will attend to any special needs.
A GUARANTEED NUMBER OF GUESTS expected at a private function must be received by the Club by 10:00 a.m. two days before the function; menus must be finalized at least one week in advance. Charges will be based on the number of guests guaranteed, even if fewer guests attend. We will allow a 5% leeway if more guests than the guaranteed number arrive, but cannot guarantee that service will be provided to guests in excess.
